History

It hasn’t always been this way. Our church was once the young adults service at St. Albert Alliance Church. That’s right, we belong to the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada denomination.

Our church began with a small group people who were looking to approach church in a different way. They agreed to disagree on some things; they embraced creativity in all its forms; they recognized that no one has all the answers, so they were open to all the questions; and most importantly, they welcomed everyone regardless of faith, background, appearance, status or current situation.

The concept took off and soon enough Next was a church living inside of another church. It was time for the young adult to move out of their parent’s house. They went of to find their communities place and mission by building their own brand new church, ready for the next big thing that God had in store for them.
