Kick the Boring Out of Your Life

Women’s Book Study – Tuesday Evening 7:30 – 9:00
Each week you read a chapter of Donna Carter’s book and come to discuss it with other women.  You do not need to come every week.  Each chapter is a great foundation for the evening’s conversation, and if you are gone on vacation for a couple of weeks or can only come three times over the summer we think you will enjoy it. Held at the Church – childcare will not be provided, bring your own coffee or tea.  For more information contact Holley Christensen –

Book Description

Good lives rarely happen randomly. But a wise woman who works in concert with God’s design for living is almost certain to have a full, rich life—the kind of life every woman really wants.

How does a woman make the wise decisions that will create a beautiful life? In her new book, author and speaker Donna Carter offers practical and spiritual advice that can help you create the life you love. You’ll learn how to:

think big
set boundaries
take risks
invest wisely
maximize the power of your words

These strategies and more will help any woman create the life she loves.

Things are a little blurry at the moment but we are working on making things clearer

In May 2019 our lease on our facility expires.  Our landlord would like us to stay.  We would like to stay if the landlord will install a lift  (we must become an accessible facility) and give us a lease rate that works for us.  A part of entering into negotiations is for us to be very aware of other alternative spaces where we could meet, should we be unable to find a win-win for us and the landlord.

So a group of NEXT people have volunteered to serve on a facilities search committee.  It is being chaired by Kris Knutson.  They will be exploring all sorts of options.  Please ask questions and make suggestions.  We think we need 5000 to 8000 square feet.  We are open to shared facilities and just about all options.

The rental business here at our facility is still up and functioning and it is important that we not scare away business – by publically discussing a potential move.  We will, of course, manage bookings so as not to commit to hosting groups beyond the time we know we have the facility.

We may be moving on, we may be staying.  We know we are on a journey of discovery for our community as we look to find the place God has for us in June 2019.

Join us on Thursday Evenings from July 5th to August 30th from 7-8 pm for our weekly services.
